In the spirit of the holidays, here's a little Easter Egg "reveal" for you readers.
Noun = Excessive interest in or admiration of oneself and one's physical appearance.
Take a look back at several of the past posts from my blogosphere and see if you notice a common theme running through the graphics that I have not-so-subliminally chosen. You would be correct if you answered that it would appear that anytime I am given or driven to choose an illustrated or photo-real image of a person, I will invariably default to one with red hair. For those who have known me for awhile, you can attest that I used to have much more, much curlier, much redder red hair. For those who have only known me briefly, for the past 10 years, you witnessed my hair succumb to an increasing incursion of white and an equal dimming of the lustre of my locks from "carrot" to muted auburn to strawberry-blondish white. And for those who only know the most recent Canswer Man years, you have witnessed the follicle phenomenon of my chemo baldness growing back in with an unexpected higher return ratio of red to white (though still muted auburn) and a softer/straighter texture than I could have ever imagined.
True to my titular heading, I have just indulged myself in yet another ramble on my red-headed-ness (with accompanying copper topper image). A slight departure from the normal insights of living with cancer and aligned topics, but hey, it's all about me - so I can talk about whatever I like. Next week I'll work on getting back to more serious subjects and observations of value - nooooooot!
